
Eight Pupils Killed in Tragic N2 Crash Near Mandeni
KwaZulu-Natal is mourning after eight pupils were killed in a road accident on the N2 near Mandeni this morning.
The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government confirmed the tragedy and said the N2 was closed following the crash. Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli expressed condolences to the families and called on motorists across the province to exercise extreme caution and obey road-safety rules.
The Premier has also instructed traffic officers to increase their presence on provincial roads while authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
